This was posted by Senator Babet, United Australia Party, Victoria. One of our few genuine representatives who actually care for the country.
The direction in which this country is heading is disturbing. The Uniparty have made a mockery of representative democracy.

Two minutes with Australia’s richest man: politics, legislation and tax.
Australia’s richest man, Kerry Packer, speaking on the stupidity of legislation, politics and tax.
“If anyone in this country doesn’t minimise their tax, they want their head read, because as a government, you are not spending it that well, that we should be donating extra…:
Kerry Packer
You made the rules in 1986 – I didn’t try to sneak around the back door or sneak underneath this. These rules were made in 1986. I read the rules, said “what am I allowed to do?” and that’s exactly what we’ve done!
Now why do you want to change the rules again? This is the first – What’s happened with this operation going on now is exactly what those rules were put in place for! It’s the first time it’s been used. It’s exactly what they were put in place for and we have obeyed them absolutely.
Why do you want to change the rules again?
I mean since I grew up as a boy, I would imagine that through the parliaments of Australia, from the time I was 18 or 19 years of age to now, there must be 10,000 new laws been passed and I don’t really think it’s that much a better place and I’d like to make a suggestion to you which I think would be far more useful:
If you want to pass a new law, why don’t you only do it when you’ve repealed an old one?
I mean this idea of just passing legislation legislation every time someone blinks is a nonsense! Nobody knows it, nobody understands them
you’ve got to be a lawyer with books up to here, purely and simply to do the things we used to do … and every time you pass a law you take somebody’s privileges away
There’s nothing wrong with minimizing tax!
I don’t know anybody who doesn’t minimize their tax – you were doing so in ways that were that were contrary to the spirit of the law.
Well I just got through telling you what I thought about that! I am not evading tax in any way shape or form now, of course, I am minimizing my tax and if anybody in this country doesn’t minimize their tax they want their heads read because as a government I can tell you that you’re not spending at that well that we should be donating extra

We badly need more mechanisms for Sunset on many pieces of legislation and/or a new law to require 2 old laws to be taken out before a new one can be introduced.
There is much current legislation that was created as a favour to get votes from a minor party in return.
The current prohibition on nuclear electricity seems to have come into effect that way, a promise to green if they assisted some other legislation.
The bad effects of such laws usually outweigh the good.

Re: super funds owning homes etc
I could see this coming a mile away when the Canadian pension funds started buying up Aussie farmland.
Once the super/ pension funds become large enough, they significantly impact the market to the extent they force prices up, and end up owning a significant proportion of assets and businesses.
While it has worked in the short term, unfortunately over a longer time span, even with our pensions and super payouts we won’t be able to buy anything significant, and we will barely be able to afford to live, and will be renting off the very funds we turned into monsters.
110
Yes.
And it still depends on somebody doing the everyday work.
The value of the industries they are buying depends on ever lower numbers of workers. Until something crashes it.
Like, e.g. the people who got left behind demanding a share.
Or the discovery that those fewer workers had neglected maintenance of infrastructure.

The US senate has to debate things for as long as debate is required, unless at least 60 of the 100 senators vote to move to a set period of debate on the topic so it’s not endless. The latter may occur if those who continue to delay a decision are only doing it for the sake of delay. (or something to that effect)
Perhaps similar should be in place here.

No bill should EVER be allowed to pass without debate. We pay these parasites to warm seats whilst doing three parts of bugger all for years before retiring on a fat lifelong stipend and simultaneously taking up a lucrative position in private enterprise with mates they favoured whilst in office. The very least they can do is pretend to represent their constituents. Parasites is not a strong enough label. I can think of many alternatives.

Biden’s pardon of his son was completely open-ended for any and all federal crimes he may have committed over a ten year period, even if they have not yet been discovered. (Biden can only pardon federal crimes.)
80
The upside is that he can no longer “plead the fifth” in any Congressional inquiry. He can’t incriminate himself because he’s been pardoned for all his federal crimes, known and unknown. If he refuses to answer questions he can be held in criminal contempt and sent to jail. Hopefully Trump’s team will get him to answer all those difficult questions everyone wants answers to.

Last time, just before he left office Trump pardoned Charles Kushner, son-in-law Jared’s dad, along with 73 others, let’s hope Biden can beat that
214
The pardon to Charles Kushner was a token pardon in that Kushner has served all his time years earlier and the pardon doesn’t remove the conviction from his record. At best it might restore some privileges, but has negligible impact from a justice perspective given it didn’t reduce any penalty received. Very different to the Biden situation where the whole sentencing is avoided and Hunter gets a free pass for any federal crime for the last 10 years, including those not yet known about (if any).
Should Trump have pardoned Kushner? Probably not. Does it matter that he did? Probably not.

All this does is confirm, in the minds of Americans, they did the right thing in ousting a corrupt regime from power and especially The White House!!!

“Corrupt To The Core”: Dems In Disarray Over Hunter Pardon As ‘Rule Of Law’ Narrative Implodes
Absolute chaos has broken out on the left following Joe Biden’s blanket pardon of his son Hunter – which spans the period right before Hunter joined the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma (for $1M/year), through yesterday evening.
It was also revealed that months of denying this would happen were pure lies, as the pardon had been in the works for months.
In short, it couldn’t be any more obvious that Hunter was simply the Biden family bag-man.
As X user @therealZNO notes:
In 2013-2014, the United States orchestrated a violent coup that toppled Ukraine’s democratically elected government, which led to the ousting of President Yanukovych.
Events that followed:
– April 16, 2014: VP Biden meets with Devon Archer at the White House.
– April 21, 2014: VP Biden visits Ukraine and becomes U.S. policy face.
– April 22, 2014: Archer joins Burisma’s board.
– April 28, 2014: British officials seized $23M from Burisma’s owner.
– May 12, 2014: Hunter Biden joins Burisma’s board, and both were paid millions.
In 2019, an investigation revealed that the Obama administration knew Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board was problematic and interfered with U.S. policy in Ukraine.
The investigation also uncovered approved transactions involving the Obama administration which allowed a Chinese government-owned company and an investment firm with Chinese ties to acquire Henniges, a U.S. military technology firm—Bohai Harvest RST (BHR)—linked to Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz.
This is barely the tip of the iceberg.

White House ridiculous ‘war politics’ excuse for Hunter pardon is another strand of the Biden Inc. cover-up
By Post Editorial Board Published Dec. 2, 2024
Oh, the shamelessness of Karine Jean-Pierre: The White House press secretary on Monday defended President Biden’s pardon of son Hunter as justified because of “how politically infected these cases were” — that “war politics infected the process and it led to a miscarriage of justice.”
What garbage.
In reality, “war politics” — Democrats’ desire to bury the clear facts about Hunter’s (and first brother Jim Biden’s) multimillion-dollar influence-peddling to foreigners in Joe’s name — protected Hunter all these years.
It moved federal prosecutors to go glacially slow in these cases even before Joe won office; it prompted the 51 “spies who lie” to prostitute themselves pitching the “Russian disinformation” lie to suppress The Post’s laptop exposes in advance of the 2020 election; it led Garland to oversee a Keystone Kops “investigation” that “accidentally” let the statute of limitations expire on Hunter’s most serious legal jeopardy.
Only after Republicans took the House in 2022 and whistleblowers came forward to denounce the coverup was Garland’s hand forced to move the cases along — and even then Hunter nearly nabbed a plea deal that would’ve given him the same immunity that Joe’s now granted.
That is: It was “war politics” protecting Hunter — and also driving the avalanche of prosecutions of Donald Trump, though of course Jean-Pierre won’t admit that glaring fact.
Yet all the Democrats’ “no one is above the law” posturing came crashing down with the president’s abuse of his powers to put his son above the law.
The Justice Department is somehow inherently beyond reproach as long as Democrats are running it, goes this beyond-cynical argument — and Trump’s coming drive to root out all Justice’s partisan players is somehow a “politicization.”
The rank hypocrisy is another reason voters just handed Trump the White House and a Republican Congress.
One silver lining: This pardon means Hunter can’t plead the Fifth when called to testify about his role in Biden Inc. corruption — and can still face charges if he’s caught in perjury after Dec. 31.

‘Leaving Office in Complete and Total Disgrace’: Scott Jennings CNN Chimes in on Biden Pardoning Hunter
“Joe Biden is leaving office making the strongest possible case for Donald Trump that anybody could possibly make it, and that’s that our government and our justice system is of, by, and for the elites and nobody else,” Jennings offered.
As for those, like Finney, who want to make it about Trump, Jennings made further clear he is sick of such nonsense.
“Never again do I want to hear ‘Oh, Donald Trump’s a liar. You can’t believe anything he says. Donald Trump will abuse his power. Donald Trump will only use the system to benefit himself and his family,’ and so on and so forth. Never again,” he stressed.
Speaking directly to Finney, Jennings also brought up specific elements of the pardon that have been concerning.
“I have one question for Karen and that is why did he need an 11-year blanket pardon going back to 2014 when Joe Biden was the vice president?
We are sitting on the biggest coverup of who knows what crimes, and Joe Biden amazingly knows exactly roughly when it started. He knows just about when it all started.
He’s leaving office in complete and total disgrace.
He is a liar and there is no other way to spin this today.
This has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the character of Joe Biden,” Jennings stressed, while Finney laughed at such a question.

JONATHAN TURLEY: Joe Biden’s pardon of son Hunter cements his legacy as liar in chief
Biden’s action culminates years of lying to the public about his knowledge and intentions in the influence-peddling scandal surrounding his family
President Biden’s decision to use his presidential powers on Sunday to pardon his own son will be a decision that lives in infamy in presidential politics.
It is not just that the president used his constitutional powers to benefit his family. It is because the action culminates years of lying to the public about his knowledge and intentions in the influence-peddling scandal surrounding his family.
Even among past controversies about the use of this pardon power, Biden has cemented his legacy for many, not as the commander in chief, but as the liar in chief.
In the 2020 election and throughout his presidential term, Biden repeatedly lied to the American public with an ease and impunity that shocked even many political veterans in Washington.
He was repeatedly asked if he knew about Hunter’s foreign dealings, including millions in alleged deals with Russians, Ukrainians, Chinese and other clients. President Biden lied and denied such knowledge.
As I detailed in my testimony in the Biden impeachment hearing, he had repeated discussions of these dealings. He is even on tape discussing news stories on the dealings.
This is one of the most disgraceful pardons even in the checkered history of presidential pardons.
President Biden has lied to cover up a corruption scandal that reportedly brought his family millions in raw influence peddling.

The Politico story goes on to say that the Jan. 1, 2014 start date wasn’t chosen at random.

“Wikipedia has become one of the most viewed websites in the world, but can it be trusted as a reliable source? Co-founder Larry Sanger is now warning the public not to trust the website he helped to create. “You can trust it to give an establishment view,” Sanger admitted as he explained that the website’s original design has been destroyed.
Wikipedia was originally created as an open online resource that was committed to neutrality. Between 2004-2009, Sanger said Wikipedia was a pioneer in delivering news from a non-biased perspective but that quickly changed. Users had the ability to edit various pages and debate the information from both sides of the platform, but now it is nearly impossible for the average person to participate. “If you make any edit at all you will be sternly warned or kicked out,” Sanger said, noting this often happens on articles that are “unimportant.”
Sanger believes Wikipedia is completely influenced by the establishment and has turned the site into “a battleground for a version of the truth,” as host Freddie Sayers pointed out. One blatant example is President Joe Biden’s Wikipedia page. Biden’s page has very little criticism or anything “remotely resembling the Republican point of view,” the co-founder commented. Instead, Biden’s Wikipedia page “reads like a defense council’s brief” with no mention of the alternative point of view. In stark contrast, Trump’s page was written from a Democratic point of view and harshly criticizes the former president. In fact, the page accuses Trump of crimes that he has not been charged with committing.” In contrast, Biden’s page fails to mention the Ukraine controversy or any other debacle during his time as vice president or president. Sanger flatly states that Wikipedia is “reliable on the establishment viewpoint,” which is ironic considering its Libertarian co-founders were anti-establishment.”

Now they can add Sleepy Joe’s latest piece to Pardon his own Son, Hunter Biden, as another “fantastic achievement” of his and the Neocn’s Administration. Top stuff Joe and Co.

Victoria ranks last for business amid state spending splurge
GEOFF CHAMBERS
Victoria is the worst place in the country to do business, with the state’s dismal budget performance and anti-competitive policies led by Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan putting Australia’s second biggest jurisdiction behind the pack.
A report by the Business Council of Australia on Tuesday shows Victoria ranks last across all states and territories in terms of overall settings for doing business in the country.
After 10 years of Labor rule in Victoria, the Allan government now boasts the highest debt and worst credit rating across all Australian states.
BCA chief executive Bran Black, who is pushing Jim Chalmers to accelerate and expand the Albanese government’s productivity fund supporting states and territories, said Victoria must “address its regulatory environment, which is putting a handbrake on the economy”.
“Victoria has some of the least competitive property tax settings, payroll taxes and business licensing requirements in the country — it fundamentally needs to look at how these are holding back its economy,” Mr Black said.
From the Comments
– I have been in business for almost 40 years and have the misfortune to operate out of Melbourne, Victoria. I have never seen business conditions as bad as they are now, even compared to those during the recession we had to have. This year will be our first trading loss which has put significant pressure on all aspects of the business and its people.
Our land tax bill more than doubled this year as our broke government uses us to fund its incompetence. Hoping for a change of government next year which may help to improve confidence. Not surprised business insolvencies are at record levels.
– If an election was held in Victoria tomorrow, Labor would still win. Most Victorian voters aren’t too smart, they obviously think the massive debt accumulated is the government’s problem.
– @Peter it’s not that they aren’t smart. A large percentage rely on labour largesse for their living. Construction Unionists working on useless big build projects, the exponentially growing number of public servants, left wing students, left wing academics and those on the receiving end of all those seemingly infinite woke policies.
They created a captive voter pool. It’s now almost impossible for the libs to unpick.
130
As a Victorian, I have a sense that many are living here in a sort of Stockholm Syndrome. And they will keep supporting these lying, destructive vermin politicians.
110
A lot of Victorians saw this situation coming and left already. The remaining voters swing mainly towards the Left.
Victoria of course will go to Canberra and demand a larger slice of everyone else’s GST takings. I mean, because fairness, right?

Dr Adi Paterson last night told Andrew Bolt that AEMO is a cult and South Australia will now try to use their big diesel generators to stabilise their electricity grid.
His forecast of future electricity cost increases is truly frightening.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbvLlnhl9ac
70
Terrible interview…neither of them seemed to know what they were talking about !
SAs diesel generators are insignificant in the scale of the States power requirements.
Bolt was talking about AEMOs desire to control RT solar, whilst Paterson was just pushing Nuclear .
01
I got the impression from their reference to SA “unmothballing” diesel generators was only being talked about in the context of assisting with grid stabilising. Not pretending that the diesel generators would power the grid.
I believe the two generators referred to have a capacity of 140MW which is 5% of SA peak demand. So not quite “insignificant” in terms of potential for grid input as an on demand stabiliser when renewables fluctuate.
The point of their discussion was that there is a problem with stability due to solar and wind fluctuations.

Empty slogans can’t hide the reality of renewable fairytale
The idea that Australia can become a renewable energy superpower is fanciful, even if we can agree on a definition for the term. As for things being made in Australia, we are heading in the direction of making fewer things, not more.
Judith Sloan – Contributing Economics Editor
Let’s drop the ‘energy superpower’ nonsense. We’re not even close
The Albanese government has relentlessly pushed Renewable Energy Superpower and, more latterly, Future Made in Australia, as supposedly appealing slogans. The electorate is presumed to be inspired by these catchphrases, highlighting the direction in which Labor wishes to take the country.
The problem is that both these slogans have little analytical content and cannot, and should not, be used as organising principles for governing. The idea that Australia can become a renewable energy superpower is fanciful, even if we can agree on a definition for the term. As for things being made in Australia, we are heading in the direction of making fewer things, not more.
It is understandable why Energy Minister Chris Bowen is so keen on the notion of the renewable energy superpower. It’s not just about the government handing out wads of subsidies to promote renewable energy, it’s about a new economic direction for the country. We can turn our backs on fossil fuels, but the future will be brighter still.
What is less clear is why Treasurer Jim Chalmers would sign up to this fairytale.

Chris Bowen jeers ‘always-on’ generation as rooftop solar at risk
COLIN PACKHAM, ROSIE LEWIS and SUMMER LIU
Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen has defended an increasingly decentralised power grid against calls for more “always on power” like nuclear, despite four million Australian households facing the threat of restrictions on their rooftop solar supplies to stop the power grid being flooded with excess electricity.
As Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton put cost of living and energy bills at the centre of their informal pre-election summer blitz of key seats, the power grid operator has warned too much solar generation risks pushing local distribution lines to breaking point. With rooftop solar at its peak supplying up to half the needs of the electricity system, a new “emergency backstop” mechanism will be introduced to temporarily solve the problem of too much solar overwhelming the grid.
The Energy Minister said the solar move was part of the journey to a modern power grid with solar, wind and batteries set to replace coal generation as Australia’s main form of electricity.
From the Comments
– Why are there no solar panels on the roof of Parliament House?
– If home provided solar is too much for the grid, why are we building more big ugly solar farms? I don’t get it!
– Does anyone really believe anything that Chrus Bowen says? And, does anyine feel lile me that Australia is on an energy path that could ruin our country in the next 20 years?
100
Recently Matt Canavan asked the AEMO boss if he could guarantee Aussies would soon get lower electricity prices?
Of course he couldn’t guarantee that and just more of their stupid BS and nonsense.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZobKhZojc0
101
The price will just keep increasing as more coal generators are shut down and more wind, solar and Big Battery plantations we get.
Even in the extremely unlikely event that Australia built nuclear reactors as per Dutton’s plan (and don’t forget, he is an anthropogenic global warming fraud True Believer) that would take at least ten years and probably far more. We are talking about “can’t do” Australia. Also, it was the fake conservative Liberal Party that has already banned nuclear power in Australia not once but twice and they are responsible for most of Australia’s renewable madness.
There is little to no hope of a reduction in electricity prices in Australia no matter which faction of the Uniparty is in power. Australia will continue to self-destruct as electricity prices continue to increase.

H7N6 bird flu is always present in nature and of little consequence.
It’s mortality rate in humans is claimed to be up to 50% according to Goolag AI which generally represents the Official Leftist Narrative.
In the light of Official Government Misinformation about covid, I would like to know what the truth is.
Also, the destruction of chickens is just another excuse for the Left to attack the food supply. They are doing the same in Australia. As I understand it, H7N6 is not especially deadly in chickens. Surely it would be better to let it run its course. The naturally resistant chickens would survive and could be bred to create a population that was resistant.

Are they trying to stop people working with wood?
As with all things, let common sense rule, not scary stories.
If dust is being generated, wear a mask.
If allergy is suspected, don’t work with that timber or take precautions.

Look at how many are just listed generically as ‘irritant’. Of course, any form of dust is potentially an irritant.
No doubt some of the timbers will (perhaps uncommonly) have potential issues, but my advice – keep on wood working everybody.
(not medical advice! See your doctor if a concern).

Among the timber chips that I have been showered with to no effect were those from mulga scrub feeding stock.
Mulga wood is poisonous. The aboriginals used it for spear heads. And it is well known that you get any splinters out ASAP.
I have scars from a couple of near misses with falling mulga trees which caused wounds wiped with the wet sappy ends of trees. And those scars are bleached white.

MAJOR FINDINGS:
– The NIH funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab.
– The Constitution can’t be suspended in times of crisis.
– COVID emerging from a lab leak is “not a conspiracy theory.”
– EcoHealth and Dr. Peter Daszak should “never again” receive taxpayer funds.
– Public health officials have lost the trust of the people.
– Trump’s Operation Warp Speed was a success.
– The COVID response was “rampant” with fraud, waste and abuse.
– “The prescription cannot be worse than the disease,” lockdowns had horrific consequences.”

Are we there yet?
‘According to a new study, biomarker evidence suggests the Barents Sea (Arctic) was seasonally “ice free” from ~8000 to ~2100 years ago, or back when the CO2 concentration was said to be about 265 ppm.
‘Since that warmer Arctic period, the climate cooled and sea ice extent expanded.
‘For the last 2100 years sea there has been year-round sea ice in this region . Today the minimum sea ice coverage is in August and September, whereas the maximum ice coverage is in March/April.’ (Notrickszone)

Indeed.
Warmists are like Aristotle who was a “staticist” who believed the earth environment never changed.
Of course, scientific evidence like this shows it’s been constantly changing through all time.

How Green Torpedoes Sank the National Fishing Fleet
Regular consumption of seafood (two or more meals per week) has been found to provide significant health benefits in three broad categories. These are cardiovascular; immune system related; and conditions involving neurological development and functioning.
Although government and health care professionals are aware of the desirability of greater seafood consumption and some efforts are being made to promote this, no formal cost-benefit assessment has been conducted and there is little appreciation of the actual magnitude of potential benefits either financial or societal.
Worse still, any real increase in consumption is being thwarted by restrictions on supply and prohibitive prices for seafood resulting from the gross mismanagement of our marine resources by a bloated, incompetent and often malign bureaucracy.
These may seem excessively harsh words but they are both considered and warranted.
Briefly, here are some key facts:
. Australia has the largest fishing zone (EEZ) per capita in the world. It is over 6 million square kilometres in area. While the global average for EEZ area is about 2 hectares per capita, Australia has close to 30 hectares per capita.
. The Australian annual fishery harvest rate is the lowest in the world at around 37 kilograms per square kilometre (or 370 grams per hectare) while the global average rate is over twenty times greater.
The reason for this astounding disparity in our fishery production compared to that everywhere else can be explained in one word: bureaucracy.
We have the most restrictive and onerous fishery management in the world; it is also the most costly per unit of catch. In many of our smaller fisheries, management costs are greater than the GDP of the sector—money could be saved by paying the fishermen not to fish at all and doing away with the management.
Despite all this expensive management, Australian fisheries are in widespread decline.
Our fisheries management is not about saving endangered species or beneficial use of resources. It is all about bureaucratic empire building, grant-seeking researchers and political pandering for green votes.
The reality is out there, over the horizon and underwater where the truth is safely inaccessible. Anyone can claim anything and who’s to know.
Spending $1.7 billion a year to import a renewable resource we already have in abundance, paying for it by selling off non-renewable resources and calling this sustainable management is beyond stupid.

Anthony Albanese’s Praetorian Guard goes fishing to save votes from Tanya Plibersek’s ‘long game’
SARAH ISO and GEOFF CHAMBERS
Anthony Albanese’s left-faction lieutenants have met with Tasmanian community and industry leaders concerned that Tanya Plibersek could shut down the state’s $1.36bn salmon industry, as ALP figures say the Environment Minister is ready to “play the long game” in her political rivalry with the Prime Minister.
The looming decisions, which could devastate the aquaculture industry, have sparked concerns from Liberal and Labor Tasmanian leaders, as well as about 50 per cent of residents who told an EMRS poll they opposed an industry shutdown in the harbour, which is six-times the size of Sydney Harbour and the country’s second largest.
Ms Plibersek has come under pressure from both green activists and conservatives over various environmental decisions, including Coalition attacks following her intervention in the $1bn NSW Blayney goldmine.
The 55-year-old faces significant pressure over the lengthy delays related to the two reviews linked to the Maugean skate.
One of the reviews is reconsidering a 2012 Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act determination by the then-Labor government that approved large-scale salmon farming in Macquarie Harbour.
A separate decision by the Threatened Species Scientific Committee on whether the skate should be listed as “critically endangered” was recently delayed by 12 months.
A spokeswoman for Ms Plibersek on Sunday said the Environment Minister “will listen to the science and follow the law, as she is required to do”.

That issue reminds me of the live cattle : sheep export trade that Australia is probably about to lose full time. Which the ALP/Greens appear determined to wipe out. Why? Because it harvest votes in the inner city, suburban areas of our main cities towards ALP. Any amount of petitions, voting, letters to local MP’s will do sweet FA. These people don’t give a crap about either the cattle/ sheep industries or now, the fishing industries. All those we once called Primary Producers.

the common line ‘no one will be left behind‘. And they really do love that phrase, but key to understanding here is that this is not about them caring for you, no, it’s rather the opposite, implying that no-one is allowed to opt out.
As for the ‘healthy environment’, that’s one of the more contentious issues (which is why they hid it well). See, these ‘healthy environments’ per a 2024 document courtesy of the OHCHR on ‘The Right to a Healthy Environment’4 –
‘… the right also guarantees environments that are ecologically healthy, regardless of direct impacts on people.’
And that is not hyperbole. That is an express quote from page 8.
